BSUT became a member of the Association of Higher Educational Institutions of Belarus and China

On November 21, 2023, the Forum of Rectors of Belarus and China began its work.
The Forum was opened at the National Library of Belarus. The plenary session opened with speeches by Alexander Bakhanovich, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, and Xie Xiaoyun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus.
After the plenary session, the signing ceremony of the Agreement on the establishment of the Chinese-Belarusian Association of Universities took place. On behalf of our university, the Agreement was signed by the first vice-rector Samodum Yuri Gennadievich. In total, the Association includes more than 80 universities of Belarus and China.
The Forum continued with the work of three sections, one of which – «The development of digital literacy of students in the intellectual era» – was attended by the first vice-rector of BSUT Samodum Yu.G. and the head of the Department of International Relations Shebzukhov Yu.A.
The red thread of all speeches, both during the plenary session and during the work of the sections, was the intention to cooperate within the framework of the Association on inter-university cooperation, joint training of professional and interdisciplinary specialists, submitting applications for research funding, organizing joint educational programs and academic exchange events (including seminars, forums, conferences).
