The package of amendments to the EAEU Technical Regulations was discussed at a meeting in Astana

On October 1-3, 2025, in Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan, a joint meeting was held between the Register of Certification for Federal Railway Transport (PC FFT), the Certification Body for Railway Products and Services of the Educational Institution Belarusian State University of Transport (OS BSUT), and the Kazakhstan Certification Center for Railway Transport (KAZCCT), which was attended by (pictured):

Ongarbekov Aidos Kuanyshbekovich - First Deputy Director, Head of the KAZTSZHT conformity assessment body,Vyacheslav Semenovich Zaichik - Head of the BSUT certification body,
Komissarov Alexander Fedorovich - head of PC FGT,
Agafonova Natalia Anatolyevna - first Deputy head, acting head of the PC FGT certification body;
Adasbayeva Indira Bakhytovna - Deputy head of the KAZTSZHT conformity assessment body,
as well as representatives of the top management of KAZTSZHT.

During the meeting, issues related to a package of amendments to the EAEU Technical Regulations, a package of amendments to the Lists of Standards for Technical Regulations, the issue of the absence or availability of only one CI for testing a number of products (glasses, pads, traction generators, etc.), the formation of standardization programs within the EAEU, and the creation of Associations of railway conformity assessment bodies / issues of notification of conformity assessment bodies.

Following the meeting, the parties reached a common opinion on all issues, coordinated further actions and measures to amend Technical Regulations, involve testing laboratories to confirm product conformity and establish an association of conformity assessment bodies.
