Research laboratory «Diagnostics, testing and research of building materials and structures» named after Prof. I.A. Kudryavtsev

In order to conduct research in the field of diagnostics and evaluation of the residual resource of elements of building structures, a research laboratory «Soil Mechanics, Footings and Foundations» was established on February 05, 1991 on the basis of the Belarusian State University of Transport, reorganized in 2001 into «Building Structures, Footings and Foundations». Its first scientific supervisor was Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor I.A. Kudryavtsev, whose name the laboratory has been bearing since 2007.

In 2019, the laboratory was renamed «Diagnostics, testing and Research of building materials and structures» named after Professor I.A. Kudryavtsev.

Currently, its scientific supervisor is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Vasiliev Alexander Anatolyevich.

Vasiliev Alexander Anatolyevich is a member of the Expert Council for coordination, improvement and enhancement of the scientific and technical level of work in the field of inspection of buildings and structures at the Republican Unitary Enterprise «Institute of Housing – Research and Design and Technology Institute of the Construction Industry named after S.S. Ataev», a member of the Technical Committee for Standardization in the field of architecture and construction «Operation, inspection, reconstruction of buildings and structures», as well as a member of the Belarusian Republican Public Association of Restorers. He is a certified specialist for the right to carry out work on the inspection of buildings and structures.

Over the years, under the leadership of Vasiliev A. A., a survey of more than 2000 different objects of the national economy has been carried out.

The Research Institute has the right to perform works on the inspection of buildings and structures, according to the certificate of conformity (№ 0000277-OB, valid from 06/28/2019 to 06/28/2024) issued by the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus to BSUT.
