The main directions of scientific research:
- the study of the processes of friction and wear in moving mates of machines and mechanisms operating in the conditions of boundary lubrication; development of operational methods and means for monitoring the state of rolling pairings (supervisor: Advanced Doctor in Engineering Sciences, Full Professor O. Kholodilov).
- the development of safety systems and devices for rail transport (supervisor: Ph.D. of Engineering Sciences, Docent V.V. Burchenkov).
The subject of scientific research carried out at the school corresponds to the global trends in the development of science, has both a fundamental and an applied aspect of activity, which is confirmed by the nature of publications in publications at various levels, as in Belarus so abroad, as well as by the discussion of research results during presentations with oral presentations at international conferences.

Key Scientific Results
The scientific team of the school participated in the tasks of the SCRP "Technical Diagnostics" and the SRP "Mechanics, Technical Diagnostics, Metallurgy". One Ph.D. of Engineering Sciences, four masters of Engineering sciences were prepared.
