BSUT is developing cooperation with Chinese partners

The leaderships of our university, represented by the rector of the university Yury Ivanovich Kulazhenko and vice-rector for scientific work Alexander Aleksandrovich Erofeev, from May 4 till 9, 2023, made a working trip to Guangzhou (PRC) pursuing the goal of mutually beneficial use of international turnover, as well as developing cooperation with educational institutions and enterprises of the transport industry in Guangdong.
Working travel plan:
- meeting with the management of the Guangzhou Railway Vocational College to discuss opportunities for providing educational services to college students within the framework of joint educational projects;
- meeting with students and teachers of Guangzhou Railway Vocational College participating in a joint educational project;
- negotiations with the leadership of the Union for Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries of Guangdong Province on cooperation in the field of testing and certification of railway products;
- participation in the opening ceremony of the Centre for testing imported rail transport equipment in the CIS countries;
- negotiations with the CVC Testing Technology Co. on the organization of joint projects within the framework of the activities of the Centre for Testing imported Rail Transport equipment in the CIS countries;
- negotiations with the Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group Co. Ltd. on the organization of joint projects within the framework of the activities of the Centre for Testing imported Rail Transport Equipment in the CIS countries.
On the first day, May 4, during a visit to the railway college, they got acquainted with the infrastructure, living conditions and education of college students. Important and developed draft agreements have been carried out. At the meeting, the Secretary General of the Guangdong Union for Technical Cooperation, Deputy Union of CIS Countries Gou Fengzhi, his deputy Xu Jingli, project manager Chen Xuebing, rector of Guangzhou Railway Vocational College Mr. Ma Renting, vice rector Wang Yani, as well as the college administration department.
The result of the negotiations was the drawing up of a joint work plan for the training of specialists from among Chinese citizens in the specialties "Technology of railway power supply" and "Automatic control of railway signals".
