V Republican Festival of military and patriotic songs among foreign students

- I welcome you with words of friendship, words of good wishes, health and all the best things in this world. And the best thing is the world itself, - Rector of BSUT Yuri Ivanovich Kulazhenko addressed the participants and guests of the Festival.

The V Republican Festival of military and patriotic songs among students – citizens of foreign countries was held in BSUT, dedicated to the Victory Day and the 79th Anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

This year the festival brought together students from Minsk, Gomel, Mogilev and Mozyr. The geography of the Festival participants included Belarus, Russia, China, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Guinea, India, Egypt, Morocco, etc.

As Honorary guests of the festival Assistant to the President - Inspector for the Gomel region Sergey Ivanovich Bartosh and the chairman of the Railway district organization of the NGO "Belaya Rus" Alla Nikolaevna Belenok expressed in their speeches sincere joy to see such a multinational composition of the festival which gathered in order to support the preservation of historical memory with creativity. In a country that remembers its history, the war will not happen again.

Students of ten universities from the stage expressed their feelings, their attitude to peace and war with the help of songs, dances, poems, stage installations and virtuoso playing of musical instruments.
