BSUT's participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Transport Science and Innovation"

On June 1-2, 2023, Samara hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Transport Science and Innovation", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Samara State University of Railways.

The conference was attended by representatives of Russian transport universities, industry research centers and the Russian Railways company, as well as scientists from China, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Italy, Iraq and Zambia.

The Dean of the Faculty of Transportation Process Management, Ph.D., Associate Professor N.A. Kekish and the Head of the Department of Operational Work Management and Labor Protection, Ph.D., Associate Professor E.A. Fedorov made presentations at the conference.

The speeches of the representatives of BSUT aroused keen interest and active discussion of the representatives of the scientific community gathered at the conference. The conference participants unanimously noted that science and education are key factors in the development of not only the transport industry, but also the country as a whole.

Within the framework of the conference, a tour of classrooms and laboratories was conducted for the guests of the university, which gave an opportunity to get acquainted with the organization of the educational process, new technical means of teaching, exchange experience in the field of methodological support.

Later, the conversation was continued during a meeting of representatives of transport universities with the rector of Samara State University of Railways M.A. Garanin, at which issues of the work of the educational and methodological association, the feasibility of unifying the curricula of transport universities, the problems of staffing and training of highly qualified scientific personnel were discussed.
