The ANNIVERSARY International Scientific and Practical Conference «INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT AND CONSTRUCTION COMPLEXES» dedicated to the 70th anniversary of BIRTE-BSUT has started its work

On November 16, 2023, the ANNIVERSARY International scientific and practical conference «INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT AND CONSTRUCTION COMPLEXES» dedicated to the 70th anniversary of BIRTE-BSUT began its work at the Belarusian state university of transport.

More than 350 scientists from Belarus, Russia, China, Uzbekistan and other countries take part in the conference in full-time and distance forms.

Vice-Rector of the scientific work of the Belarusian state university of transport, candidate of technical sciences Alexander Alexandrovich Yerofeyev:

– According to the tradition that has been established for many years, our conference is held with the support of the Ministry of transport and communications of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian railway. The work of the sections is attended by scientists from various sectors of the economy not only of our country, but also countries of the near and far abroad. In our opinion, such cooperation, an active dialogue between scientists and practitioners of different spheres and economic systems will allow us to formulate new approaches and find effective solutions to urgent problems of development and innovation of transport and construction complexes.

This conference is an anniversary one, so we can already talk about the accumulated experience and, at the same time, confidently develop further innovative development strategies.

12 sections of the conference are working today:

1. Rolling stock of railway transport.
2. Management and intelligent transport systems.
3. Information technologies, automation, telemechanics and communication in railway transport.
4. Applied ecology, resource-saving and energy-efficient technologies in transport.
5. Transport economics and logistics in the context of digitalization.
6. Design, construction and operation of transport facilities.
7. Industrial and civil construction.
8. Natural sciences for transport and construction complexes.
9. Trends in the development of educational technologies and education of specialists of the transport complex.
10. Innovative technologies of passenger transportation organization.
11. History of transport and transport education.
12. Innovative approaches in ensuring the transport security system.

The BSUT’s Museum has a tape of the history of BIRTE-BSUT from the beginning of the formation of the Belarusian railway to the achievements of the university of our time.

The plenary session of the conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of BIRTE-BSUT will be held on November 17.
