Round table «Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus – new horizons and prospects»

On January 30, 2024, a round table on the topic was held online: «Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus – new horizons and prospects».

The purpose of the event is to discuss the Belarusian and Uzbek experience of socio-economic and socio-political transformations, promising areas of bilateral cooperation.

The event was organized by the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies and the Institute for strategic and interregional studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The round table was attended by belarusian and uzbek diplomats, heads of research centers at ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, representatives of Uzbek Railways, the Belarusian Institute for strategic studies, the National Marketing Center of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian State University of Transport.

On behalf of our university, the dean of the Faculty of transportation process management Natalia Anatolyevna Kekish and the head of the Department of operational work management and labor protection Evgeny Alexandrovich Fedorov took part in the round table.

Within the framework of the breakout session, E.A. Fedorov made a speech. With a report on the topic: «Transport and logistics interconnection of Uzbekistan and Belarus in new conditions», he spoke about the transport relationship between Uzbekistan and Belarus, transport and logistics potential and prospects for bilateral cooperation between the countries.
