On April 23, 2024, the opening of the XVIII International Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics took place at the Belarusian State University of Transport, which was attended by 95 students, representatives of 21 universities from four countries: Belarus, China, Turkmenistan, Russia.

At the opening, the participants of the Olympiad and their leaders were welcomed by the first vice-rector of the University Samodum Yu. G. and the head of the Department of Technical Physics and Theoretical Mechanics A. O. Shimanovsky

A theoretical competition is being held today (April 23), the results of which are summed up in individual and team competitions.

The results of the competition will be announced on April 24, 2024.
