Awarding of the academic degree to Wang Yubian

By the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus on May 8, 2024, the decision of the Council D 08.01.01 at the Belarusian State University of Transport on awarding the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.22.08 «Management of transportation processes» to Chinese citizen Wang Yubian based on the results of defending the dissertation «Model of the organization of high-speed and high-velocity passenger trains» was approved.

Wang Yubian's dissertation was defended on January 23, 2024. The scientific significance of the work consists in the development of methods for determining the parameters of the organization of mixed train traffic on double-track sections of railways, differing in taking into account the influence of the movement of high-speed and high-velocity passenger trains on the capacity of railway sections. The results obtained make it possible to increase the efficiency of the organization of train traffic on railway lines.

The successful defense of Wang Yubian's dissertation is the result of high-quality scientific training received by the applicant at the graduate and postgraduate courses of BSUT, hard work, dedication and organization. She is an inspiring example for other graduate students (including Wang Yubian's compatriots from China) currently studying at our university, as well as for young people who are just thinking about a career as a scientist and getting a science-oriented education.

The Belarusian State University of Transport congratulates Wang Yubian and her supervisor, Vice-rector for Scientific Work of BSUT, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Yerofeyev Alexander Alexandrovich on awarding the candidate of the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences and wishes them both success and continued fruitful scientific work.
