BelSUT at the opening of the Belarusian Transport Week - 2018

Belarusian State University of Transport takes an active part in the annual events of the Belarusian Transport Week - the international transport and logistics forum and the international specialized exhibition “Transport and Logistics”. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus V.E. Kukharev, Minister of Transport and Communications A.A. Sivak, heads of transport ministries of Latvia, Lithuania and Russia.

The main theme of the forum in 2018 is the development strategy of the transport infrastructure of the Republic of Belarus and transport and logistics services based on modern information and communication technologies, which affects almost all aspects of the BelSUT activities

On October 2, 2018, rector of BelSUT Yu.I. Kulazhenko took part in the opening plenary session of the Belarusian Transport Week - 2018. It is important to note that the rector of the university was delegated for moderation of plenary session.

As part of the meeting procedure, Yu.I. Kulazhenko presented a report on the topic “The Role of Education in the Digital Transformation of the Transport and Logistics Industry of the Republic of Belarus”, which aroused a keen interest among the forum participants, expressed in numerous questions and discussions on the identified problem.

The business events included the signing procedure with the Belarusian Railways CIO of the Plan of perspective development and equipping the material and technical base of the laboratories of the Belarusian State University of Transport educational institution and the Cooperation Agreement with ULTRA Technologies LLC, which is one of the leading organizations in digitalization, including educational technologies.
