On December 13-14, 2018, our university was visited by a delegation consisting the Guangzhou Railway Polytechnic College’s representatives to hold working meetings on the fulfilment of the agreement concluded between BelSUT and the College in April 2017.

After the university tour, the members of the delegation headed by the deputy secretary of the College party committee, Mr. Ma, at a working meeting with the rector of our university, Yu.I. Kulazhenko, vice-rector for educational work N.N. Kazakov and the dean of the foreign students’ faculty Vlasyuk T.A. discussed the main directions of the relationship further development.

At this meeting, the delegation from Guangzhou presented options for the integration of curricula in the specialty "Management of operational work in rail transport" and proposed a scheme for joint training of students in China with the participation of BelSUT teachers and later College graduates at the university. At the meeting, the immediate prospects for the direction of students of the Guangzhou College in Gomel to study Russian were discussed, as well as the issues of training of teachers in the Master and Postgraduate Studies at BelSUT.

The meeting was held in a friendly relaxed atmosphere and ended with the achievement of agreements on all the planned directions that will be implemented in the near future.

The result of the productive two-day work of the delegation was the signing of a memorandum, according to which next year it is planned to work out integrated curricula and sign an agreement on joint training, and also accept students and College teachers to study Russian language for admission to postgraduate education at BelSUT.

The guests of our university expressed gratitude for the hospitable meeting and warm welcome and were delighted with the beauty of our city and friendly attitude towards them.
