Logistics: Poland and BelSUT

From February 18 to February 22, 2019, the head of the Eastern European markets department of the Adampol S.A. (large Polish logistics company) Irena Giczan was on probation at our university.
The main activity of the Adampol S.A. is the carriage of cars in international traffic.
The Polish specialist was acquainted by faculty of the department "Cargo management and commercial work" with the specifics of the cargo and commercial operations in international rail transport in the Eastern European region and in the Chinese direction.
The greatest interest for Mrs. Irena was the issues of documenting and accompanying transportation using modern information management systems, the construction of efficient logistics chains with the participation of rail transport, the organization of oversized and non-standard cargo transportation, and the organization of container traffic in accelerated container trains. During the refresher courses, Mrs. Irena also visited the Gomel branch of the “BTLC” enterprise, whose specialists spoke about the features of forwarding and the provision of freight forwarding services for the international carriage of vehicles in the direction of Kazakhstan and China.
