The Association for the Promotion of Educational Initiatives in the Field of Exact Sciences and High Technologies “Education for the Future” and the Belarusian State Transport University held the Gomel Cup of the educational robotics GomelRobotech2019 on December 14, 2019.

Teams from all over Belarus came to our hospitable university.

Competitions were held in the following categories in different age groups:

Managed Robofootball

Following the line. Lego

Roborace LEGO

Olympiad

In each nomination, the winners received valuable prizes.

The tournament participants were worried and supported by their parents.

The youngest participant of our competitions.

The most active participation in the organization of the event as volunteers and judges was taken by students of the electrotechnical, mechanical and cadets of the military transport faculty of our university.

As part of the event, a meeting was held between the director of the Association for the Promotion of Educational Initiatives in the Field of Exact Sciences and High Technologies “Education for the Future” Khomich Alexander Valentinovich with the leadership of the university represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Erofeev Alexander Alexandrovich.

In the framework of the dialogue, the prospects for the development of robotics were discussed. At the end, Alexander Valentinovich handed a gratitude diploma to the name of the rector of the university Kulazhenko Yuri Ivanovich for close and effective cooperation in the popularization of engineering education.
