In mid-December 2019, our university was visited by representatives of the Tashkent Institute of Design, Construction and Operation of Roads in the person of the Head of the Department for the Search and Maintenance of Automotive Roads Khudaykulov R.M. and senior lecturer of the department "Bridges, tunnels and overpasses" Usmonova D.T.
During the meeting, a discussion took place on a number of critical issues of design, construction and operation of roads and structures on them. The guests of our university were shown the work of a software package designed for the automated design of roads; the possibilities created for studying the work of the structure of the upper structure of the track under conditions created by the loads of rolling stock in the Petrukovich laboratory; demonstrated the structure of the upper structure of the railways and the subway; a modern travel tool that guests were also interested in.
The final trip was a sightseeing trip to the construction site of a bridge over the Sozh River, located on the M-8/E95 highway, the border of the Russian Federation (Ezerische) - Vitebsk - Gomel - the border of Ukraine (Novaya Guta), traffic on which was opened in early November this year. At the facility, an opportunity was presented to get acquainted with the construction of the structure, with the landscaping work being carried out, which are the work of the final cycle.
