Results of the visit by the delegation of BSUT to educational and industrial organizations of the People's Republic of China

The delegation of BSUT, headed by the Rector of the University, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Kulazhenko Yuri Ivanovich, visited educational and industrial organizations of the People's Republic of China.
Except the Rector of the University the delegation consisted of the vice-rector for scientific work Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Erofeev and deputy head of the BSUT’s railway testing centre Sergey Valerievich Makeev.
Ltd .Co "CRRC Datong Electric Locomotive Company" (Datong)
The Datong plant produces electric freight and passenger locomotives for the Chinese market and for export.
The results of the visit:
- The production base of the enterprise and the technologies using at the plant have been analysed;
- The quality management system implemented at CRRC has been studied;
- The equipment of the enterprise using in certification tests (verification equipment, roller stand, etc.) has been studied;
- Agreements on the further continuation of cooperation were reached.
Southwest University of Transport (Chengdu)
It is one of the oldest technical universities in China.
It is part of Top Industrial Managers for Europe (T.I.M.E.) – the network of technical universities that train highly qualified specialists.
As a result of the visit, the agreement on cooperation between universities was signed, which provides for:
- Exchange of researchers, faculty and administrative staff;
- Exchange of all levels students;
- Joint research projects;
- Mutual use of equipment for scientific and practical research;
- Conducting training of Chinese specialists in the peculiarities of testing and certification of products for compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the customs union (TR CU);
- Preparation of joint scientific papers for publication in international publications.

A cooperation agreement was signed, which provides for:

- establishing contacts between specialized laboratories, exchanging experience and organizing branches of testing laboratories;
- conducting mutual internships for university specialists;
- training Chinese specialists in the specifics of testing and certification of products for compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the customs union (TR CU);
- preparation of joint scientific papers for publication in international publications.
Ltd Co. "China Company for the Electrical Equipment Export and Import" (Beijing)
The Company specializes in activities in the field of international engineering contracts and export-to-import supplies of electrical equipment.
By the Company were establish partnerships with the Belarusian Railway in the context of projects for the supply of electric locomotives and the execution of the general contract for the railway electrification. By now, two joint projects have been completed, and three more are underway. The total volume of projects being implemented jointly with Belarusian Railways is more than USD 500 million.
Reached agreements:
- Mutual promotion of CUEC and BSUT brands in the Belarusian, Chinese and foreign markets;
- Development of cooperation in the field of ensuring the railway transportation safety;
- Preliminary agreement on the creation of a CUEC training laboratory on the basis of BSUT.
Total conclusions
- Determination of specific measures for the implementation of signed contracts.
- Organization of cooperation with enterprises and organizations for the development of educational and laboratory facilities and the implementation of scientific research. Creation of specialized laboratories.
- Activation of student science, especially in the field of robotics, IT-technologies, "Smart home", information security, technology management and other innovative developments;
- Development of not only engineering, but also fundamental science and fundamental research aimed at “tomorrow”.
