International scientific and practical conference "Development of Belarusian-Chinese higher education cooperation in the context of the "Belt and Path" project"

The conference was organized by the Belarusian State University, the Republican Institute of Higher Education, and the Dalian Polytechnic University (PRC). The conference was opened by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Igor Karpenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Cui Qimin and the Rector of BSU Andrey Korol.
During the event, the main stages of the evolution and development of the higher education systems of both the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China were considered, the tasks and possibilities of cooperation between Belarusian and Chinese universities were discussed, information and communication technologies in the higher education system of the two states were compared, and the forum participants exchanged experience in quality assurance and control in the higher education system.
As a symbol of the development of the established friendly relations between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China, a bust of Confucius was unveiled in the courtyard of the BSU in the presence of the conference participants.
