Continuity of the educational system: "college-university"

Gomel State Road Construction College named after the Lenin Komsomol of Belarus is one of the oldest transport educational institutions in the Republic of Belarus. For almost 90 years the college has been training specialists in various fields for the road industry. Graduates of almost all specialties of the college, interested in obtaining higher education, quite often continue their studies at the Belarusian State University of Transport on full-time and reduced correspondence courses.
May 23, 2019 Head of the Department of Economics and Organization of Road Facilities, Ph.D., associate professor Yuldasheva S.A. and Ph.D., associate professor Omonov B.Sh. The Tashkent Institute for the Design, Construction and Maintenance of Automotive Roads (Tashkent, Uzbeksitan) together with the teachers of the department visited the college in order to exchange experience in the field of organizing the educational process, developing educational and methodological documentation and stimulating the activities of students.
The initial stage of a fairly long study tour was a conversation with the management of the college, director V.N. Pil'shchikov, head of the architectural and construction department, Isakovich O.V. and head of the department of retraining and advanced training of personnel Kozyrenko E.M. about the history and role of the college in the field of transport education of both the BSSR and modern Belarus, the features of the educational process in the college and the interaction of the college with higher education institutions. In turn, representatives of TIDCMAR spoke about higher transport education in Uzbekistan and the directions of its development.
The teachers of the college, together with the students, demonstrated specialized classrooms, acquainted them with the directions of research activities of students and their achievements.
Methodist of the college Goroshko Z.A. presented educational and methodological documentation developed by teachers. The approaches to the implementation of the modular-rating system in the educational process aroused particular interest.
