On the instructions of the Belarusian Railway, design documentation has been developed for the roofs of hopper cars and a universal covered car to replace existing structures with insufficient corrosion resistance during the overhaul of these cars.

The need to perform this work is due to the discrepancy between the technical resource of the roofs and the resource of the bodies and frames of these wagons.

The results of the work have been implemented at the Baranovichi, Mogilev and Osipovichi car depots and the cars that have been modernized are successfully operated on the Belarusian Railway.
