The main directions of scientific research
- the development of mechanical and mathematical models for the deformation of layered, including three-layer rods, plates and shells connected and not connected with an elastic medium under various quasistatic and dynamic loads, including the derivation of equilibrium and motion equations taking into account the effects of thermo-radiation fields, the wording of initial and boundary conditions;
- the study of quasistatic deformation of elastoplastic three-layer elements of structures at one-time and variable loads in thermal radiation fields, obtaining design formulas for displacements and stresses;
- the study of the spectrum of natural frequencies of three-layer elements of structures depending on the geometric and elastic characteristics materials of the layers and the stiffness of the elastic medium;
- the study of forced vibrations of three-layer elements of structures under sudden, local and resonant loads, including thermal radiation shocks;
- the creation of a complex of computer programs for parametric analysis of the obtained analytical solutions.
The main scientific results, the most significant implemented developments:
- the theory of single and variable effects on viscoelastic three-layer elements of structures in thermo-radiation fields under various power loads and types of elastic media;
- the research methodology for intrinsic and forced vibrations of elastic three-layer rods, plates and cylindrical shells, connected and not connected with an elastic external environment, under the influence of shock, pulsed and harmonic loads;
- the solving the problem of quasistatic deformation of three-layer rods and plates with a stepwise variable boundary.
Currently, the research results have been implemented in the ALC Stroykomplektekhnika, the PUE MonolitServiceStroy, the UE Gomel Agency for Construction and Investments under the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Gomel Tehnopribor, OJSC, in the educational process of BelSUT, the calculation practice of the Scientific Research Institute of the Railway Institute Transport, The State Scientific Institution «V.A.Belyi Metal-Polymer Research Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus», the Holding «Gomselmash». They were used to calculate the foundation elements, rectangular inserts to enhance the coverage of an industrial building; optimizing the thickness of the window metal-polymer profile, optimizing the composite elements of individual means of protection against impact, they are used to study the deformation of the heat exchanger, combustion chambers and afterburning, rational geometric parameters of underground reservoirs for storing petroleum products are determined. The implementation results are confirmed by relevant acts.
The school has prepared 3 Advanced Doctor and 11 Ph.Ds.
