On November 28, 2019, the IX International scientific and practical conference "TRANSPORT SAFETY ASPECTS" began its work at the Belarusian State University of Transport, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the faculties of transportation management and mechanical and building.

Opening the conference, the rector of the Belarusian State University of Transport Yuri Ivanovich Kulazhenko and the head of the Belarusian Railway Vladimir Mikhailovich Morozov addressed the participants with welcoming words.

Presentations at the plenary session were made by: Tikhonovich Viktor Vyacheslavovich, chief road safety inspector for train traffic of the Belarusian Railway; Kulazhenko Yuri Ivanovich, Rector of the Belarusian State University of Transport; Oganyan Eduard Sergeevich, Leading Researcher, Research and Design Institute of Rolling Stock, Russia; Andzhej Massel, Deputy Director of Instytut Kolejnictwa, Warszawa, Poland; Lomotko Denis Viktorovich, Professor, Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport; Kireev Vitaliy Ivanovich, General Director of the Belarusian Transport Research Institute "Transtehnika".

About 400 people took part in the plenary session of the conference: from BSUT - 290 people, from organizations of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus - 38 people (including the Belarusian Railway - 28 people), other enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Belarus - 13 people; Russia - 8 people, Ukraine - 6 people, China - 7 people, Poland - 3 people, Uzbekistan - 2 people, a total of 26 foreign participants.

At the end of the plenary session, three cooperation agreements were signed: the Research Institute of Railway Transport (Warsaw, Republic of Poland), the College of Urban Railway Transport (PRC) and CJSC "Industrial Park Development Company".

In the conference hall, the head of the Belarusian Railway Vladimir Mikhailovich Morozov presented awards of the Belarusian Railway to employees of the Belarusian State Transport University.
