Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in BSUT

On February 7, 2020, Belarusian State University of Transport was honoured to host a delegation consisting of Political Advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus Daniyar Abidov and Assistant Ambassador for Economic Affairs Kabul Alimov.
During 2 hours at the university, guests discussed with the first vice-rector Yuri Samodum and vice-rector for scientific work Alekcandr Yerofeyev important issues of the development of inter-regional cooperation and outlined the main directions for the interaction of BelGUT with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus in matters of maintaining inter-university contacts and academic mobility.
Mr. Abidov showed high interest in the developing of cooperation between the Transport University and organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. And this is no coincidence, because it is the transport industry that is one of the most important sectors that contribute to the development of trade and economic relations between countries. By the way, our University has longstanding business and friendly contacts with the Andijan Mechanical Plant, Tashkent casting-mechanical plant, the Tashkent factory of passenger cars construction and repair, Tashkent Institute of Railway Transport Engineers, Tashkent Institute of design, construction and maintenance of automotive roads.
The delegation members thanked the University leaderships for their hospitality and expressed their desire to maintain contacts, as well as facilitate the establishment and development of business cooperation between BSUT and organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
