Victory at the VII International Youth Conference i-Customs: «International Business, Innovation and Customs Regulation»

On May 21, 2020, the VII International Youth Conference i-Customs: «International Business, Innovation and Customs Regulation» (VII International I-Customs Conference, St. Petersburg, Russia)!
The theme of the 2020 conference is “Customs fostering sustainability” (the role of customs in sustainable development).
Under quarantine conditions, the conference was broadcast on YouTube, where viewers could leave their questions to participants from Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Macedonia, China, Uzbekistan and Kenya, who won the qualifying stages in their states.
23 speakers presented their research on international trade, customs regulation and innovation. Students of the specialty "Customs" Hanna Manuilava (GT-31) and Maryia Korshunova (GT-21), who has took the 1st and the 2nd places respectively according to the results of the republican competition I-Customs.by, made presentations.
The purpose of the conference: to unite students, who studying the problems of international trade and customs of different countries into a community of future professionals. The community that is ready for active discussions and for participation in scientific research and for practical work based on international experience.
The conference is the official qualifying round of the WCO PICARD Youth Forum. The international jury selected the top 10 papers that are recommended for participation in the PICARD conference (will held in November 2020).

Maryia Korshunova, who took part in a conference of international level for the first time and studying English for less than two years, took the twelfth place in terms of the amount of points she scored.
