The existing designs of the end walls and the covers of the unloading hatches of universal gondola cars do not meet modern regulatory strength requirements. New designs of end walls and covers of unloading hatches with the necessary margin of safety have been developed.

The results of the work are being implemented at the Mogilev Railway Car Building Plant.
