On October 1, 1953, by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the Belarusian Institute of Railway Engineers was established.
The cooperation of the educational institution «Belarusian State University of Transport» with the Southwestern State University began on 08.06.2022 with the signing of a cooperation agreement.

On June 1-2, 2023, Samara hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Transport Science and Innovation", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Samara State University of Railways.
During the second day of the working trip, on May 5, the delegation of our university once again visited the Guangzhou Railway Vocational College.

07.03.2023 our university was visited by the deputy head of the Planning Department of the Guangdong Union for Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries.
