The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan, assisted in organizing the work of the delegation consisting of 21 universities’ representatives in the exhibition of Belarusian education services “Fair of Knowledge”, which was held from April 21 to April 23 in Ashgabat. The delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Sergei V. Rudy.
From 15 to 18 April, the 15th International Olympiad on Theoretical Mechanics was held at our university. It was attended by 150 students from 39 universities of 6 countries.
Specialists of the Latvian Railway were trained in “Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of the transport complex managers and specialists” of the educational institutions “Belarusian State University of Transport” from March 25 to March 29. The theme of training courses was “Software development for railway automation and remote control systems according to the requirements of IEC 62279-2015 (EN50128)”.
From 18 to 23 March 2019, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus organized a business visit to representatives of Belarusian universities in the Syrian Arab Republic and the Lebanese Republic. The purpose of the visit is to promote the export of educational services to the specified countries.
The current stage of development of domestic and foreign education is characterized by the influence of complex social world transformations, as well as integration processes in the economic, scientific, technical and other fields.
From February 18 to February 22, 2019, the head of the Eastern European markets department of the Adampol S.A. (large Polish logistics company) Irena Giczan was on probation at our university.
During the celebration of the 65th anniversary of our university, an agreement was signed with the University of Hohai (Nanjing, China). This agreement gives the University of Hohai the right to host the Asian stage of the International Olympiad on Theoretical Mechanics, which our university has been conducting for 15 years.
The Chinese New Year has long been the main holiday in Eastern Europe and East Asia. Unlike in Western countries, there is no fixed date for the start of the Chinese New Year.
